Privacy Policy

This statement describes how the Business Excellence Platform processes personal data in the context of certification and assessment procedures. It applies to all users, applicants, and auditors who use our services.

  1. Responsible Entity and Contact

The operator of the platform, located at Reinergasse 1, 9500 Landeck, Austria, is responsible for data processing. For questions regarding data protection, information requests, or deletion requests, you can reach us by phone at 0678 2026998 or by email at info@kazakhstanawards.com. We treat every request confidentially and respond within 30 days.

  2. What Data We Process

In the context of using our platform, we process various categories of personal data. This includes information from forms such as name, company name, email address, and telephone number. Additionally, we store content you submit during an application, such as documents, evidence, and descriptions related to your company. When visiting the website, technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages accessed are processed. This data serves to ensure functionality and improve our offering.

  3. Purposes of Processing

Your data is processed exclusively for clearly defined purposes: handling submissions, conducting assessment and audit procedures, communicating with applicants and auditors, and documenting certification decisions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, insofar as processing is necessary for the provision of our contractual services. For the processing of technical data and the use of analysis tools, we rely on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

  4. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the platform. These cookies enable basic functions such as navigation and session security. Furthermore, we do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or external analysis tools that track your behavior beyond this website. You can delete or block cookies at any time via your browser settings; however, this may limit the functionality of the platform.

  5. Disclosure to Third Parties

Your personal data is only transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the provision of our services. This includes hosting providers that supply the technical infrastructure, as well as providers of email and form services through which we communicate with you. These service providers process data exclusively on our instructions and are contractually obligated to comply with the GDPR. Disclosure to other third parties, for example for advertising purposes or the sale of data, does not take place.

  6. Storage Duration

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes. Application documents and assessment results are retained for the duration of the certification and subsequently for the legally prescribed retention periods of up to seven years. Technical log data is automatically deleted after no more than six months. After the respective period expires, the data is irrevocably deleted or anonymized.

  7. Your Rights

You have the right to obtain information about the data we store, to have incorrect data corrected, and to request the deletion of your data, provided no legal retention obligations conflict with this. Furthermore, you can request the restriction of processing, receive data in a machine-readable format, and revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply contact us using the contact details mentioned above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna).

  8. Transparency and No Misleading Information

The Business Excellence Platform is committed to full transparency. We do not collect data that is not necessary for the stated purposes and do not make promises we cannot keep. In particular, we do not guarantee specific certification results, preferential treatment of individual applicants, or official recognition by third parties unless this is expressly proven. All assessments are carried out based on objective, documented criteria. This statement is reviewed regularly and adapted to changed legal or technical conditions. Last updated: January 15, 2025.
